| The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) can’t even dress themselves (let alone figure out steroid levels within products); Yushin Okami is heading to K-1; UFC 78 is inching closer and I’ve got some predictions; I have a take on David Terrell and a parting shot at UFC Mania.com. Those are the topics that I’m discussing so let’s find out who “Wildfire” is burning for. a 1-2 punch of massive amounts of paperwork and scary faces in order to confuse the extension on the hearing. I truly believe that Sherk will get his suspension shortened to six Commission. This apparently worked, as the CSAC was thrown into disarray and ordered an months instead of one full year. extension on the hearing. I truly believe that Sherk will get his suspension shortened to six months instead of one full year. K-1 Fighting just got a little stronger by signing former UFC Middleweight fighter Yushin “Mr. Boring” Okami. Ok, I didn’t come up with that nickname, but if the shoe fits, wear it. Okami was 5-1 in the UFC but only finished one fight during that time. He does, however, hold a victory over UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva. The victory came by DQ after Silva landed a questionably illegal kick to the head of Okami. I consider it questionable because the kick looked legal and did send Okami into la-la land. Anyway, I’m sure Okami will tear up the K-1 Middleweight Division because he’s a large fish in a small pond over there. UFC 78 takes place Saturday, November 17th in New Jersey and here’s who I think will win: Rashad Evans Houston Alexander Spencer Fisher Joe Lauzon Tamden McCrory Marcus Aurelio Karo Parisyan Chris Lytle Ed Herman You may notice that there has been a change in one fight on the card. In something that has become commonplace, David Terrell (The Steve McNair of MMA) has been forced out of his fight with Ed Herman. Joe Doerkson will replace Terrell. I would like to thanks the millions of Little Torches out there who supported me during my flame war on the UFCmania message board. I must state that while I’m not a regular at their site, I’m completely blown away by the lack of knowledge and originality, and just overall poor quality that UFCmania provides to the public. It’s no wonder that you are basically viewed as Tina Turner in relation to MMAjunkie’s Ike Turner.
